Fibroids क्या हैं और क्या हर Fibroid को Treatment चाहिए?
Uterine fibroids uterus की muscle tissue से बनने वाली benign, यानी non-cancerous growths हैं।
कई women में fibroids कोई symptoms नहीं करते और ultrasound में incidentally मिलते हैं।
Fibroid कहाँ हो सकता है?
Location important है।
Fibroid:
- uterine wall में
- uterus के अंदर cavity की तरफ
- uterus के बाहर
grow कर सकता है।
Symptoms size से ही नहीं, location से भी depend करते हैं।
Common Symptoms
Fibroids associated हो सकते हैं:
- heavy periods
- prolonged periods
- anaemia
- pelvic pressure
- abdominal heaviness
- urinary frequency
- constipation
- pain
- fertility/pregnancy difficulty in selected cases
क्या हर Fibroid Dangerous है?
नहीं।
Most fibroids benign होते हैं।
Fibroid found होने का मतलब cancer नहीं है।
क्या हर Fibroid निकालना जरूरी है?
नहीं।
Treatment की जरूरत usually तब ज्यादा होती है जब:
- symptoms significant हों
- heavy bleeding anaemia कर रही हो
- fertility problem से relevant relation हो
- pressure symptoms हों
- pain हो
- diagnosis uncertain हो
केवल Size देखकर Surgery?
Not ideal.
Decision में:
- size
- number
- location
- symptoms
- age
- fertility plans
- uterine cavity distortion
Treatment Options
Depending on patient:
- observation
- iron/anaemia treatment
- symptom-control medicines
- hormonal therapies
- selected procedures
- myomectomy
- hysterectomy
options हो सकते हैं।
Myomectomy क्या है?
Fibroids remove किए जाते हैं, uterus preserve किया जाता है।
Suitable patients में fertility/uterus-preservation goals के कारण consider किया जा सकता है।
Hysterectomy हर Fibroid में?
नहीं।
Hysterectomy definitive treatment है लेकिन major irreversible decision है।
Patient goals और alternatives discuss करना जरूरी है।
Fibroid और Pregnancy
बहुत-सी women fibroids के साथ uncomplicated pregnancy करती हैं।
Risk fibroid size/location के अनुसार vary कर सकता है।
याद रखें
Fibroid report का treatment नहीं किया जाता—patient के symptoms और goals का treatment किया जाता है।
